This SASP TA webinar for administrators was held on November 5, 2015. Sandra Harrell, Director, and Anneliese Brown, Senior Program Associate, with the Center on Victimization and Safety at the Vera Institute of Justice provided an overview of planning an accessible and inclusive event, from initial design and development to post-event wrap-up. Topics included critical access elements in the process of designing an accessible in-person event, including budgeting considerations, choosing accessible event locations, securing American Sign Language interpreters, creating accessible print materials, and much more.
