We consistently hear from rural advocates that they struggle to practice the skills necessary to support sexual assault survivors and that they know there are sexual assault survivors in their community who are not seeking services. Rather than waiting for sexual assault survivors to call or walk in our doors, we can proactively provide outreach to our communities and make sure that everyone knows that we are here to help.
