Rural Training and Technical Assistance

We love rural programs and know they have the capacity to be healing spaces for survivors of sexual violence. Our Rural Training & Technical Assistance Team provides resources, webinars, publications, tools, national conferences, training and technical assistance specifically for rural agencies seeking to enhance services to all sexual violence survivors. The Rural TA Project can assist on a range of issues related to sexual violence services, such as:

  • Developing an outreach plan for sexual assault survivors in your community
  • Performing a community sexual assault needs assessment
  • Providing culturally and linguistically specific/accessible services to sexual assault survivors
  • Advocacy for the unique needs of sexual violence survivors

For more exploration, conversations, collaboration, brainstorming, or connection with rural peers reach out to your rural technical assistance provider, Leah Green (leah@iowacasa.org).
