Resource Details

Survivors of sexual violence have a right to safe, decent, and affordable housing. After all, housing is a basic human right. Yet, sexual violence and lack of housing intersect with many oppressions — such as racism, classism, ableism, sexism, heterosexism, and ageism — to heighten risks and compound the barriers survivors encounter in housing arenas.

These resources address the unique housing needs of survivors of sexual violence across the lifespan and beyond intimate partner violence. It is for advocates, organizations, coalitions, and communities.
