A Train-the-Trainer Seminar and Roundtable, July 24-25, 2012 in St. Louis, MO
The Resource Sharing Project ARRA TA team is excited to share the many resources gathered and developed at our recent train-the-trainer seminar and coalition roundtable with a focus on sustainability! This exciting opportunity brought together representatives of State and Territorial Sexual Assault Coalitions to receive up-to-date information on sustainability for coalitions and their member centers and share coalition-specific experiences.
After participating in the Sustaining the Movement to End Sexual Violence: A Train-the-Trainer Seminar, coalition staff returned to their state or territory equipped with an enhanced understanding of sustainability concepts, the knowledge and skills needed to develop a sustainability plan, as well as a variety of practical resources. The information and resources shared here will help to support coalitions in developing (or enhancing) a sustainability plan and will provide materials that can be adapted to train and support local rape crisis centers efforts. Resources from the seminar include:
- Sustaining the Movement PowerPoint presentation
- Basics of Sustainability
- People + Places + Money
- Strategic Allies
- Communicating the Change
- Frameworks Institute Report Programs and
- Practices Stewardship Context
