If we take a step back, we understand that organizations are groups of individuals gathered together around a common goal. This is easy enough to picture; many of our coalitions began as a result of advocates recognizing the need for statewide representation of sexual assault victims/survivors and policy issues. Each coalition has a different look and feel to it and each has organized itself to meet the particular needs of that state or territory.
