Technical assistance (TA) is one of the central pillars of partnership between coalitions, local programs, and allies. While models and usage of TA vary by coalition, overall, every state- and territory-wide coalition provides some form of general support and assistance. In this paper and worksheet, we offer a broad overview of what technical assistance is, examples of tools and frameworks that may help coalitions strengthen their TA, and reflective guidance on approaching ethical challenges in TA provision.
