Through interactive scenarios and discussion, this course will introduce you to the key principles and various active listening skills we can use to enhance the ways in which we connect with and serve survivors of sexual violence. The course also offers additional handouts with scenarios and exercises for practicing our active listening skills. Scenarios for Active Listening

This handout provides an opportunity to practice your active listening skills with different survivor scenarios. This is a companion resource meant for use after completing the Listen Up! Active Listening as Advocacy online course. The activities in this handout can be done in small groups or individually.

Role Plays for Active Listening Reflection

This worksheet provides role-play exercises to help with practicing active listening advocacy skills. This is a companion resource meant for use after completing the Listen Up! Active Listening as Advocacy online course. The exercises in this worksheet can be done in groups of two to three.
