Tips for Advocacy Programs

The Sexual Assault Demonstration Initiative (SADI) was created to enhance sexual assault outreach, services, and community partnerships in dual/multi-service programs. As a demonstration initiative, the SADI aimed not only to enhance services at the project sites but also to identify practices and dynamics that cut across all of the sites. In this way, the lessons learned from the SADI can be used by other dual/multiservice programs as they work to enhance their own services to survivors of sexual violence. This report provides an overview of the project and the lessons learned for advocacy programs, as well as for coalitions and funders.
